Gas Suppression Systems

We are able to design, install, commission, verify & maintain various types of systems such;

Inert Gaseous Protection -The most popular choice for gaseous protection is an inert, environmentally friendly gas suitable for existing and new applications. This can be piped from remote locations if storage space is a problem. As the gas is inert, refill costs are very low.

Water Mist Protection - Another environmentally friendly solution to an increasing range of extinguishing applications. A fine mist of water droplets extinguish and ‘clean’ the smoke which causes most of the damage. Suitable for specific applications.

System Integrity Testing  - Besides carrying out full site surveys and providing design, installation and commissioning of the relevant systems, we also carry out room integrity tests and can advise on associated issues such as controlled shutdown, pressure relief venting, post discharge extract requirements and provide detailed reports to assist with room sealing and construction work.

HSSD - High Sensitivity Smoke Detection Systems

HSSD Systems can occasionally be used to replace extinguishing systems altogether in 24 hour manned environments. They can also be used as an integrated part of the strategy to compliment extinguishing systems. We are able to offer design, installation, commission, verification & maintenance service.

Sprinkler Systems

These can take the form of wet, alternate, deluge and pre-action sprinkler systems and our specialist Engineers have a strong professional background in the certificated

bi-annual servicing of such equipment to the requirements of BS5306 Part 2. Requirements for system remedial's and alterations can also be undertaken.

Fire Hose Reels

The requirement of BS 5306 Part 1 for the annual service and test of fire hose reels can be satisfied by our team of suitably qualified Engineers. A Certificate of Conformity follows such work, supported by a full report and quotation for any remedial's identified.

Portable Fire Extinguishers

Our highly trained Engineers can carry out the annual inspection and service of fire extinguishers as required by BS 5306 Part 3, followed by the issue of asset details and a Certificate of Inspection. A full range of competitively priced equipment can be provided. All visits include a comprehensive survey of risks and any recommendations to achieve compliance with BS 5306 Part 8.

Dry and Wet Rising Mains

Whether a site has dry rising, dry falling or wet rising mains, we have the experienced Engineers available to carry out the annual pressure testing of such installations to BS 5306 Part 1. Certification where risers have passed the tests form part of our subsequent report, with any remedial works recorded and a quotation provided for any rectification works that may be required.
